Contributors

Please find below a full list of our recurring contributors, old and new:

Editor in Chief / Movie Critic: When he started this site, Dimitri never thought he'd be writing blurbs about himself in the third person. In his other life, he works as a writer, translator, and editor for various publications in print and online. His motto is, "Have pen, will travel."

Literary Correspondent: With a sordid past involving illustrations, libraries, and subtitles, Chris has reinvented himself as a specialist in the liberal insertion of puns. Like anyone working with words, he hides an embarrassing novel in his drawer but not in his drawers.

Podcast Hostess: A goddess to some but just strange to everyone else, Pamela has a joint B.A. in English and history. This, along with her children and her Star Wars fetish, informs everything she thinks but mercifully not everything she writes.

Guest Contributor: A computer engineer, video game enthusiast, and comics buff, P-O occasionally lends his expertise and boisterous voice to our podcast. That is, when he isn't so busy with work and Ultimate Frisbee.

Panelist: Dedicated high school teacher by day and halfhearted salsa student by night, Eric has extensive comic book knowledge and an affinity for convoluted puns. He also quotes French films in their original language, but don't be too hard on him.

Panelist: What can be said of a lass who dresses as a Hobbit and goes on adventures with her woodland companion, Hegemon the Vampire Hedgehog? To paraphrase Popeye, she is what she is, and if you thought that was Descartes, you have been misinformed.

Video Game Correspondent: Nicolas or, as his friends like to call him, Dr Nick has a PhD in physics as well as an unhealthy obsession with video games. He won the 2006 Nininger Award for his work in astrophysics and hates vegetarians as a general rule.

Guest Contributor: From the number of armours Tony Stark's donned to last line in the Dawson's Creek finale, Dennis has an unlimited knowledge of geek entertainment. He's also a computer technician and trained martial artist, not that either tidbit is relevant.

Panelist: Known as the Funky Chicken, Frank has been on the Internet since 1996. When he isn't rambling on our podcast, the cyber-librarian tames electrons for his municipal book repository. He is brought to you by the letter Q and the number three.

Panelist: Phil is a passionate game designer with a background in film. When he isn't busy feeding his desire to push the limits of interactive media over at Ludophil.com, he lends his voice and wisdom to Expository Dialogue and other Idiomanic podcasts.

Guest Contributor: A life-long sci-fi fan and avid whisky connoisseur, Yannis occasionally lends his extensive knowledge of Star Wars and other geek properties to our podcast. So far, he has appeared in only a handful of episodes but has always held his liquor.

Guest Contributor: An English editor with a penchant for ironic absurdities, Eileen started out on the site as a composer instead of a writer. Though the matter has since been rectified, the absurd irony of it all still pleases her.
