It’s the annual Oscar rundown! With the eighty-third Academy Awards just a few days away, Chris, Eric, Nick and Dimitri share their thoughts on the nominees, try to predict the winners, and spoil Darren Anorofsky’s The Wrestler (2009) for some reason. Please be advises that this episode contains coarse language. Blame Chris. Come back next time as we discuss bad grammar.

Literary Correspondent: With a sordid past involving illustrations, libraries, and subtitles, Chris has reinvented himself as a specialist in the liberal insertion of puns. Like anyone working with words, he hides an embarrassing novel in his drawer but not in his drawers.

Panelist: Dedicated high school teacher by day and halfhearted salsa student by night, Eric has extensive comic book knowledge and an affinity for convoluted puns. He also quotes French films in their original language, but don't be too hard on him.

Editor in Chief / Movie Critic: When he started this site, Dimitri never thought he'd be writing blurbs about himself in the third person. In his other life, he works as a writer, translator, and editor for various publications in print and online. His motto is, "Have pen, will travel."

Video Game Correspondent: Nicolas or, as his friends like to call him, Dr Nick has a PhD in physics as well as an unhealthy obsession with video games. He won the 2006 Nininger Award for his work in astrophysics and hates vegetarians as a general rule.
