Hey, kids, do you like free stuff? How about free movie swag promoting an indie production that follows Kyle, a stagnating film student at a community college as he tries to impress his pretty classmate, Penny, by interviewing his creepy neighbours, Dick (Alex Webb) and Barb (Shirleyann Kaladjian), only to get sucked into their deadly, twisted universe like a moth to a flame? If so, boy, do the creative minds behind the upcoming neo-noir thriller To the Flame (2015) have a contest for you!

If you live in Canada or the U.S., you have the opportunity to win one of ten free digital downloads of To the Flame when the film is completed in 2015, one of five exclusive “wrap party” caps with the To the Flame logo on them, or a trip to New York City to prominently appear in the movie’s final scene and attend the production’s wrap party. The latter prize includes round-trip airfare, two nights at a hotel, and, of course, a chance to meet some of the cast members, like Bob Balaban from the recent Monuments Men (2014) and Oscar-winner Olympia Dukakis from Moonstruck (1987).

To participate in the To the Flame Free Movie Swag contest, all you need to do is to send an e-mail with your full name, address, and phone number to totheflamemovie@gmail.com. Make sure to type the word “CONTEST” along with your last name in the subject field. You have from now until 10 April 2014 to get your entry in. Until then, you may want to check out the teaser trailer for Alex Webb’s To the Flame. I dare say it looks pretty offbeat.

Good luck!
