What Sad Batman Is Thinking

My aversion to social media trends is well documented. Even though it would help the site gain exposure, I have trouble engaging in the sort of mob mentality inherent to spreading or prolonging a viral meme. However, when Zack Snyder tweeted a perfectly serviceable but irresistibly comical picture of Batman from his upcoming film, I just couldn’t resist.

Maybe it’s because Hollywood seems intent on bombarding us with comics-related news. Just today, Edgar Wright, who’d been working on Marvel Studios’ Ant-Man for the past six years, announced he was leaving the project owing to creative differences.

And, earlier this week, the bigwigs at Warner Bros revealed that the title of their Man of Steel (2013) sequel will be Superman V. Batman: Dawn of Justice, prompting derision from the four corners of the Web (I honestly don’t think it’s that bad).
